O- Sensei Harold D. Brosious Shosha O -Sensei Harold D. Brosious, Judan, 10th degree black belt, Ketsugo Ju-Jitsu Self Defense recognized by the American Ju-Jitsu Assn, the All Japan Ju-Jitsu International Federation ( AJJIF ), Nippon Yawara Ryu Aiki-Ju-Jitsu Renmei, European Samurai Ju-Jitsu / Aiki Society, European Association of Daito-Ryu-Aiki-Bujitsu & the World Ju-Jitsu / Aiki - Bujiutsu Federation. Harold was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1932. Now living in Austin, TX. He trained with professional boxers and wrestlers prior to entering the Service. Formally started in the Martial Arts in 1951 while serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a Law Enforcement Training Officer while serving on the Lewiston, Maine Police Dept. from 1955 through 1962. He also instructed Civilian Defense Volunteers. He has 25 Do-Jo’s that teach the Ketsugo style of Ju-Jitsu throughout the U.S. Several in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, one in Jarcarta, Indonesia , one in Grand Cayman Island and one in Metairie, La. He is recognized by the Nippon Ketsugo Ryu as Father of American Ketsugo Ju-Jitsu. He is International President of the International Black Belt Federation ( IBBF ). The International Director of the Bushido Ju-Jitsu Kai International. ( BJKI ). Technical advisor for Texas Universal Fighting Arts Federation ( U F A F ). Member of the American Judo Ju-Jitsu Fed. ( AJJF ). The Southwest Central United States Regional Director for the US Martial Artist Assn ( USMAA ). Senior Advisor for the International Matsumura Seito Society. A founder of the Pioneers & Legends International Martial Art Society Hall of Fame ( PLIMSHOF ).He is on the Board of Directors and Life Time member of the U.S. Jiu-Jitsu Alliance. Lifetime member in the AJJIF & United States Ju-Jitsu Alliance ( USJJA ) and the later above associations. Inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame as Instructor of the Year for 1997. Inducted into the US Martial Artist Assn. Hall of Fame as Supreme Grand Master Instructor of the Year for 2002.
